LOFTY has been sold less engine and transmission. He will be used as a garden display by a Kombi Fan but I think he will be restored eventually as Panels are in very short supply
LOFTY is a 1972 VW Van with 1600 twin port engine. Vin/Chassis No. 212223507 Engine No. D877907 Lofty is in need of TLC. Mechanically he is quite sound but has rust in front pillars and small amounts in other places -see photo page and really needs a repaint. Floor is very good with only two small holes in front cabin. He has following. 1600 Twin port engine 12 volt and mains wiring and power outlets Tinted sunroof Genuine rear folding bed Sink and cupboards-need good clean up Roobar and spare wheel carrier Tow bar Radio Gas stove Immobiliser Twin battery set up Three seat belts in front and rear |
